Hōjicha (焙じ茶, ほうじ茶) is a Japanese green tea. In Japan, it is considered an everyday tea.
Made with a roasted Kukicha grown from the mountainous region in Shizouka.
As it is roasted, it lasts longer than green matcha and has a clean toasted flavor in contrast to matcha's "green" flavor.
Taste: Toasty, rich, malty, and smooth
